FEEDBACK FILM FESTIVAL Thursday – March 14, 2019. 7pm.

The FEEDBACK Monthly Film Festival is back for 2019.. Our home is The Carlton Cinemas, located in the heart of downtown Toronto at 20 Carlton Street. The event runs from 7pm to 9:10pm.

Continuing to showcase the best of short films from around the world, while maintaining our audience feedback format moderated by Kierston Drier. Showcasing a festival two times a month in Toronto in 2019!

Tickets for 2018 are PAY WHAT YOU LIKE.

If you like to obtain seats in advance and pick them up on the day of the event (come for FREE, or make a donation), please email us at festival@experimentalfilmfestival.com and we’ll reserve seats for you.

You can always make a tiny donation to the festival to guarantee your seats on the next and skip the lines:

You can pick up the tickets on the day of the event at the cinema. Tickets are first come, first serve. This festival has sold out 76 out of its last 78 events!

You will be able to buy alcohol (beer, wine, liquor), popcorn, candy, and refreshments before the show.

The video was filmed during the late summer of 2017 in Greece where a tragic oil spill occurred causing an ecological disaster in the waters of the Saronikos and irreparable damage to the interpersonal relationships of the coastal community.

AMOR TI VIETA, taken from act II of the Italian opera Fedora. This piece was first performed back in 1898 in Milan, Italy. Fedora is an opera in three acts by Umberto Giordano to an Italian libretto by Arturo Colautti, based on the play Fédora by Victorien Sardou.

TIENAS, 18TH DEC, 3min., USA, Music Video

Debut music visuals for angst-ridden, urban track ’18th Dec’ by Mumbai-based rapper Tienas, aka Bobby Boucher — self named on account of a speech impediment he was born with, which incredibly disappears whenever he raps.

To draw a beautiful letter, the calligrapher must have a perfect hand gestural. More generally, gestural that we can see in any hand writing is telling something from the one who wrote it. Dancers are telling things with body, gestural, and movements. The way someone is moving are telling a lot about him.

Let Her Out is a non-linear and non-narrative portrayal of a woman with a necessity to move. This necessity to move comes from a deep examination of self, relationships and the world she is wrapped up in. A transformation place on screen as the dancer moves through her own examination and discovery of loss, hardship and self worth. As audience members we are privileged to watch this intimate experience.
