BLUR THE LINE, 11min., UK
?Blur the Line? is a breathtaking vista as seen through a troubled psyche; a replay of memories fantasised upon during a reflective muse. While it ponders questions that are poignant, it is imaginative and thought-provoking while ambitious and enigmatic; exploring the desecration of boundaries and morals we once held dear, while fiercely challenging our own state of mind.
OTHER WORLDS, 13min., Switzerland
An ode to the infinity of worlds forever unreachable to us, hidden in the unknown of our galaxy and billions of other galaxies like ours.
BETWEEN THE BALANCE, 5min., USA
Choreography by Nicole Kadar & Dancers – while editing a full length dance concert I added a filter to give the dance a particular look & feel. but what happened next was something I rarely do. I used a mirror effect and it divided & repeated half the frame. which gave the piece a more abstract & hypnotic effect.
VISUAL POETRY: SELF LOVE, 2min., USA
The personal journey of discovering and internalizing self worth. This project is meant to recognize the importance of body positivity and self-acceptance by portraying visual metaphors that exhibit the internal thoughts of the protagonist as she dives into the profound depths of her inner voice that leads her to find herself once again and to even question the boundaries of her own self love.
SHEILA, 7min., USA
A dancer blows out a candle and finds herself in a magical world of memory , dance and presence.
UNION, 5min., USA
A journey in understanding connection.
THE SONG OF SONGS, 34min., Belgium
The Beloved yearns for her Beloved.
Is he one of King Solomon’s valiant or a shepherd went to graze his flock?
Is she one of the king’s concubines or a simple shepherdess?
The Song of Songs is a three thousand-year-old biblical poem from one of the Books of the Old Testament.
THE END OF LIPSTICK, 4min., USA
The world has collapsed, women revive it through dance. After a post-apocalyptic confinement, a dancer incrementally reconnects with her body, her objects, her city and her female kinship.
