THE DEAD MAN, 24min., Switzerland
Directed by Samuel Segurado, Liz Manresa
Complete darkness surrounds him, time seems to have stopped. He does not understand where he is. He also does not understand how he got here. But he has a guess for what reason he might be here. Music surrounds him. Melodies show him the way and lead us through the story. And then it can happen that the images disappear before our eyes and live on only in our minds.

DISSOLUTION, 10min., Cyprus
Directed by Nima B. Djavidani, Thatiana Cardoso
“Dissolution” is an experimental short film that delves into the sensory experience of dilution within a surreal and dreamlike environment. Through the use of close-up shots and abstract angles, the film encourages the audience to fully immerse themselves in every detail. The ebb and flow of the tide, accompanied by a powerful soundtrack that creates tension, unifies seemingly contradictory concepts such as woman and man, birth and death, and ultimately, rebirth.

LIGHT, 5min., USA
Directed by Karia Santa Anna
In a world where a huge garbage island floats across our seas, fruit has very suspicious ancestry, and immigrant children are literally
abandoned in the middle of nowhere, if one day the ocean rains upward…we would totally believe it. That’s how the world feels: very upside down.
