CONCRETE KEYS, 120min., Ireland

Concrete Keys is an experimental feature that creates a comically strange and disturbingly familiar parallel universe defined by the madness of institution and its paradoxical necessity for self-preservation in an ever-changing world.

A PART OF YOU, 4min., Germany
Directed by Matthäus Bussmann
A woman is dying and another version of herself comes from the darks sky to pick up her soul and eventually driver her to hell. Shot as a technical experiment entirely as a virtual production using unreal content as backgrounds. A very Collaborative project where the spoken Poem was written by the dancer kibrea carmichael after having seen the films first edit. The Music / sound was created as a reaction to the dance… so its not that she is dancing to what we hear but her dance was edited and later we created a sound design fitting to her movements.

NOEN, 15min., Norway
Directed by Bernhard Østebø
Through a series of enigmatic and dreamlike scenes we meet a boy, a man and a woman, each in their own way engaged in a journey through inner and outer landscapes. The fourth “character” is a mysterious glass ball, wandering around from hand to hand. Some times distant and unreachable, some times close and tangible. Like waves, the characters drift towards and away from each other.

MATSYA, 4min,. India
Directed by Rukmini Vijayakumar
As we humans lose our connect to the earth, our natural resources are depleted, our forests are disappearing, our waters are contaminated and animals and plants struggle to survive. Indian culture traditionally revered nature and gave it a place of importance, just like many other indigenous cultures of the world.

PAGAN VIRTUES, 5min., Australia
Directed by Kaylia Jade McGarry
This is a very selfish experimental film reflecting on my lust for shiny things in every way, shape or form. This project explores the virtues of divinity, devotion and despair; natural forces worshipped religiously in the human condition. I aimed to capture the energy of a pagan fire ritual. The film is carnivorous, grotesque, elegant and sinister; celebrating what becomes after the death of innocence. This is also a tribute to the last three years of oscillating between enemies and soulmates with someone until an ill-fated end midway through production, giving the film a personal depth. All footage was shot on my iPhone with me and a tripod. I intend to haunt and hypnotise viewers regardless of my lo-fi production methods.
