In a subtle choreography a woman slowly disengages from a familiar and structured world, about to enter a world yet unknown to her. While She Waits shows the emotional transformation during the last months of her pregnancy in a poetic and melancholic way. What happens during the long waiting till the unknown reveals itself? And how do we align a child being born with ourselves being reborn as a mother?
