Director Statement

The first time we listened to Le Malentendu, we
immediately saw the possibilities of a movie. We recognized in it a very strong narrative power, images and sensations: a beginning of staging.
The track is about the end of a friendship between two women embodied by Lafawndah and Lala & ce. It’s a hymn to the melancholy of everyday life, an echo of lost friendships and dying worlds. Through this film clip, we wanted to continue their story. We imagined a ceremony to reunite the two now separated women. A mass that erases misfortunes.
