
Robert Machoian: Born in King City, California and raised in the DIY Punk Culture, Robert Machoian has been making films and taking photographs for nearly two decades. His multiple award-winning short and feature films have premiered at major festivals such as Sundance, SXSW, and CPH:DOX. His subject matter often looks at the struggles of the middle class American family through a very naturalistic lens. Recent films include The Killing of Two Lovers (Sundance, 2020), The Minors (Sundance, 2019), When She Runs (Tribeca, 2018) and God Bless the Child (SXSW, 2015).
Keely Song: Keely Song began making dance films as a teenager while in the Tundra of Michigan. Ms. Song’s research considers the spaces and times when the identity of the dancer is questioned and encourages paying dance forward in service and collaboration. Recent collaborations include Air Transit- a film series for clean air in Utah and CLAIM- finding space for the pregnant dancer. Ms. Song’s works have been featured in national and international dance film festivals and she is currently the Artistic Director of the BYU Contemporary Dance Theatre.
