EPHÉMEROS – (transitory in Ancient Greek) is a dance film that subtly combines three elements – human, plant and sculpture – to create a unique world of fantasies. The temporality of being experienced in this world is inevitable – everything is temporary in relation to eternity.
Director Bio: Viktorija Zobielaite
Viktorija Zobielaitė is a contemporary dancer and a beginner filmmaker based in Lithuania.
She earned a bachelor degree of contemporary dance in Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. During the third year of her studies she went on student exchange program to study dance at Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon. After the time past in Lyon, she found new passion for cinema which is still developing by gathering knowledge and making experiments with camera.
As a beginner filmmaker she is interested in bringing film and dance together to craft endless possibilities.
