The aim of this collaborative project is to let the recipients get a glimpse of the transformative potential of a body in motion. A several months long rehearsal process between the director and the dancer has led to a deep and transformative journey and has set the fundament and tone for the work: a constant shifting transformation in process and a constant observation where the observer is getting observed.

Director Biography – Lena Strützke
Lena is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and director born raised and currently based in Berlin, Germany.
During her contemporary dance studies she starts to build her own works, sometimes on stage, sometimes virtual, sometimes in words while working as dancer. Through her own performance experience in front of cameras she felt an urge to work from the outside as well, finding ways to capture dance without losing its motion to the frame.
Director Statement
This project was my first attend to capture a glimpse of someones potential to transform. This short film evolves around different topics like trust, fragility and exposure.
During the creation process we build a multi-sensory experience
by touching the topics through music, through dance improvisations, through writing and building memories over several months. Most of my own works have been visualizations of identity conflicts but this work stands out through the honesty and delicacy of the performer. She never arrives in a state but she will constantly embody every sensory information and make it part of her being.
