In “Crimson’s Cabaret,” desire drives two performers through a whimsical show of music, dance, and theatre. Between reality and fantasy, two sisters try to maintain their relationship, while finding their way to stardom. Their love for one another is compromised by a carousel of characters they encounter. This theater exposes the performer’s primal urge to belong and how easily it can distort dreams, love, and art. Between the open curtain and final blackout, exists the plane where solace and affliction dance in the noise: Crimson’s Cabaret.
