Sexual harassment is an epidemic.
I wrote this piece as a way to relieve the screams I felt suppressed in my own skin.
I created this work for anyone who felt they were hiding in their bones too.
We can not silence the monsters of our society by hiding them,
under beds they grow and maintain.
We must put light to our demons, only then can we truly discover what it means to remedy.
Imagine a place where landscapes and feelings make you want to discover yourself, explore your surroundings, a place where you wish to reveal your inner self, leave the world behind and where you could live according to your true nature . With their energy and their grace, dancers express this urge to imagine a different way to see the world.
AMOR TI VIETA, taken from act II of the Italian opera Fedora. This piece was first performed back in 1898 in Milan, Italy. Fedora is an opera in three acts by Umberto Giordano to an Italian libretto by Arturo Colautti, based on the play Fédora by Victorien Sardou.
This music video is a stop motion animation portraying the story of this beautiful opera. KAJART and Shahrad Fredotti decided to focus on the most dramatic part of the story, portraying it in a very notable and artistic manner. In this scene Ipanov (the singer) declares his love for Fedora. He confesses to Fedora that it was he who had killed her husband, Count Vladimir.
Folky songwriter Katie Garibaldi’s sweet and majestically produced original song “Star in the East” from her new album Home Sweet Christmas is the perfect match for such a creatively inspired music video. The claymation and stop motion video was made by artist Marc Morgan, which pays homage to the classic Christmas movies of the ’60s that we all know and love. Detailing the Biblical story of the three wise men’s journey following the Christmas star to Bethlehem, the video not only offers a fun spin on the traditional Christmas story, but also gives viewers a sense of nostalgia in the most enjoyable way. Garibaldi’s endearing and soulful vocals serenade, “Bright as can be, lead us to our king, star in the east,” as Morgan presents a unique personality to each character, including the magi’s devoted camel. This mini Christmas movie is a treat that participants watching of all ages can appreciate.
